McGill Centre for Intellectual Property, in collaboration with Sciences Po Paris and The Innovation Partnership, is organising an international conference entitled “Intellectual property, biotechnology and social challenges in the global economy” that will be held in Paris on November 13 and 14, 2008.
Under the scientific direction of Professors Richard Gold (McGill University) and Michel Vivant (Sciences Po), this conference will bring together Canadian and European perspectives on the nexus between health, technological innovation and intellectual property.
The case studies of the International Expert Group on Biotechnology, Innovation and Intellectual Property (available on the site of The Innovation Partnership) will be the main topics of round table discussions amongst researchers, industry representatives and public sector decision-makers.
