About Us • From the Director

Welcome to the Centre for Intellectual Property Policy website. The goal of our Centre is to understand and explore new perspectives in intellectual property. Drawing upon our Faculty’s strengths in transsystemic education and legal pluralism, we seek to develop a more sophisticated understanding of intellectual property within a transdisciplinary framework of innovation governance.

Our researchers, located around the world, come from a variety of disciplines such as law, management, philosophy, ethics, science, and economics. Together, we study how governments, researchers, industry and civil society manage new and old technologies and balance the concerns of technology users, technology creators and citizens at large.

Our website presents the research projects, events, and publications of our Centre, and provides a wide range of resources and opportunities for anyone engaged in intellectual property. We hope that it will be useful in fostering a global conversation about new ways to understand the ever-evolving world of innovation.

Thank you for visiting our site!
